Moderately fast retrieve speed to keep the fluke off the bottom. 2.5ft leader was sufficient to get very lifelike movement out of the fluke. 4/0 hook did the job perfectly.

Weightless zoom fluke on 3/0 ewg hook

Fishing the shallow shoreline looking for crappie. None to speak of, but the largemouth bass were out in force, chasing minnows into shallow (<1ft) water.

We were fishing the CCKF tournament there on 5/8. My son caught several on a Booyah Prank popper and wacky rig (Bizz Baits Sassy Stick 4" Junebug). I caught my entire limit near ledges and hard bottom using a ned rig (Bizz Baits Ned Dizzy Junebug). We fished the New Light Creek area.
