Largemouth BassTechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationOuting was for May 19, 2024. Water temp was mid 60s. Fished from abou t 7am to 1am. Weather was mostly sunny mid to upper 60s. Fish seemed to be on both the inside and outside weedline. Didn't see any spawners. Caught fish on a ton of stuff. Drop shot, wake bait, popper, waku rig and more. Best fish was on a wacky rig on an inside weedline. Threw a jig a ton and didn't catch anything. Still getting used to the Mastif, but feels good. Need to get more reps with it to be able to accurately compare. Caught probably 12 to 15 fish. Overall nice outing.

Largemouth BassTechniqueSwim JigsSeasonFallStructureLily PadsComing into the late Fall days, Fish Lake will lose a huge percentage of its healthy vegetation. Concentrate on the whatever lil-pads are left on the lake, even if they are just stems. I would slow crank a square bill in the open areas outside of the pad fields, or slow roll a swim jig through the stems and available pads. Wacky senko can also play a role if you have the patience to soak it in high percentage areas. Also concentrate on the points of the lake in 6-10ft where the weed-lines are still available down deep. You won't be catching a ton of numbers, but you should grab a few handfuls of average sized bass and usually one big one over 3.5+ - Good luck!

Largemouth BassTechniqueGrass JigsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationThis report is for 11/5/2022, was out about 8am to 1130am. Weather was post cold front with clear skies. Starting out windy and moving to crazy windy. Fishing was very slow but lucked into one very nice fish in the 4 to 4.5lb range. Tried a bunch of tactics with no luck.....no takers on a 5" swimbait or jerkbait. Caught this momma on a half ounce All Terrain jig with a Berkely Chigger craw on back.

Largemouth BassTechniqueStructure JigsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationOuting Date was 11/5/2025. Fished from about 12:30 to 4:30. Weather was medium winds out of the NW, water temps ranged from 50.5 to 51.5. Air temps were around 50. I started out trying some shallow stuff and throwing a frog and chatterbait and had no luck. Moved to outside weedlines and found them. Threw a 3/8 oz jig all day after that. Caught quite a few fish. Key was finding the thick weeds and then moving just to the outside edge of them. Most of the weeds had really died off and were very thin. Also caught 3 nice dock fish on the very few remaining docks in the water.
