Throwing the swimbait on the swimjig allows you to cast much further. It makes reaching schools of fish much easier without having to constantly reposition your boat.

We were catching smallies, spots and catfish using live shiners in 20-25’ of water. We were up the river arms finding anything that was holding bait: boulders, fallen trees etc. The key was finding bait.
