Found largemouth in deep grass off shoreline based structure, but numbers and size were lacking. Found smallmouth to 20 inches in 7-8 ft on clean sand flats (minimal grass) . LiveScope was key in catching several fish, as well as a number of walleye up to 23 inches. Nearly every fish came on the Half-head and Lil General (Black, Green Pumpkin) fished slow.

Smallies seemed scattered on breaks from 6-20'. Drop shots, tubes & neds were all productive. Light line, long casts and dragging slow seemed to be the deal if you couldn't see the fish on a live forward facing sonar. You could also find lots of largies around grass, but bigger fish were smallmouth. Largies caught on Tube craws & 1/2oz Tungsten jigs w/ Menace grubs.
