Largemouth BassTechniqueDrop ShotSeasonWinterStructureLedgesWe began fishing shallower water (10-12ft) and found nothing. We then moved to deeper water (30-40 ft) and found nothing. Eventually, we found a pocket of bass somewhere between the deeper and shallower water on a ledge. We didn't find many large fish, but we caught several largemouth dragging a dropshot up steep ledges. Move the bait extra slow and keep your line tight. Either a slow drag or slow turn of the handle. If you don't get bit in a few casts, move on. The fish we found were in a very specific 20 yard area with most being concentrated in a smaller area. A dropshot bait like the Netbait crush worm in the Jr size is a great option for a slow moving dropshot. You don't have to impart any action for it to look alive.

Largemouth BassTechniqueHard Topwater (Prop)SeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureBrush PilesBass are starting to hit topwater moving into the post spawn. Water Temperatures around 68 - 70 degrees. Sitting up shallow behind the tamarack bushes seem to be holding the most fish. Also, flipping is a good option water seems to have stained from the large amount of run off from the mountain.
