Some prespawners are pulling up into the shallow staging areas and it seems like on overcast, windy days, covering water with a big bait is producing some better than average bites. There’s a lot of fish to be caught on the main lake but if you want to beat the bank, this seems to be a consistent way to get into a few of those big largemouth that are still out in the lake.
