Smallmouth BassTechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureLedgesConditions were WINDY. Was probably blowing 20mph when we launched and had kicked up to 30+ by the time we got off the water. Water visibility was maybe a foot, even with good polarized lenses. We spent a while trying to stay out of the wind but eventually found the smallies hanging out in about 7-8' of water, right about where the bottom became black. Caught a few on lipless crankbaits, but then the wacky really came into play and caught the rest on that. Caught one exceptional Crappie as well.

Largemouth BassTechniqueFrogs/ToadsSeasonSummerStructureLily PadsRough night. Came out strong and put 3 fish in the boat pretty quick on frogs/toads. Hit a 4th on the swim bait and then got stuck on a mud flat. Plugged up the engine trying to get off the mud flat and had to trolling motor back to the ramp. Lost about 1hr and 20 minutes of fishing. If we had one more fish, would have been in the money for sure. Overall, big disappointment of an evening.
