TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationFished Butler and Lake Louise today and got 10 in the boat, had 3 get off on the way to the boat and missed a few. Windy start but was able to fish some grass and reeds in open water out in front of where Shaq used to live getting 5 on a Yum Dinger 5 inch in Cranberry up to 1lbs. 11ounces before moving on. Went over to a little protected cove and got 3 more. Moved down the lake and found a better protected area to fish but got nothing. Moved over by Shaq's old house and got 1 from in front of a dock before moving through the canal back into Lake Louise and started fishing the lily pads on the left working around towards the first dock when the fish started breaking the surface chasing bait. Picked up a SPRO Haint 110 in bone color and got the biggest fish of the day at 2lbs pounces, pictured.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureReedsStarted with a chatterbait this morning but failed to get a bite with it so I went with the worm, 7 inch Yamamoto Senko in Black and Blue flake and got broke off. Took a Mardi Gras Dinger and got the one pictured and missed a few. Then switched over to the swin n Dinger and caught 5 more, all were on the small size today with the biggest one weighing 1.69lbs. All were caught along side of a reed line or in submerged vegetation close to the reeds. Lost a few others as well, one that looked to be around 3lbs, that jumped and shook his head and spit the hook close to the boat.
