fishing the southern basin we caught most of our bass on outside weedlines with the chatterbait ,also had some success flipping islated weed clumps. Did have some blow ups on frogs but no hook ups. The water was stained more than usual due to recent rains but the water level was about normal

Fished out of Ticonderoga for a two day club tournament. 25mph south winds turned the water into chocolate milk by mid morning, but it turned into a pattern of finding wind breaks and clean water. Nothing fancy bait wise...dragged a 5” Green pumpkin Maxscent General with a 1/16th bullet weight thru milfoil in 3-5’ of water.

Threw walking baits for post spawn smallmouth in 12-17 FOW. grass with larger boulders. Nice way to break up the monotony of the dropshot /ned rig grind. Fish were hitting even with a fairly good chop on the water.
