Largemouth BassTechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationI caught 6 bass. A couple off of docks and the rest in deeper water fishing the outside edge of the weedline.

Largemouth BassTechniqueNeko RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationTroll the weed line making casts out into deeper water or up under nearby docks. Let it drop like a wacky rig. If it's not hit on the initial cast, slow drag and twitch it along the bottom. It can be fished and hopped all the way back to the boat.

Largemouth BassTechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSummerStructureDocksThe tried and true method for catching bass on this lake is trolling docks. Used the new Mustad weedless drop shot hook rigged wacky with a senko stick bait. Led to a good bite!

Largemouth BassTechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationUsed a drop shot on a brush pile by a drop off was the key to make the bass bite. Basses were super finicky and wanted a slow presentation.

Largemouth BassTechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationFound fish deeper than I expected today. Fish were caught on weed transitions in 8-14' of water. Areas with cabbage were quite productive. Most fish were caught on drop-shot in the morning. Once the clouds moved in the fish became more scattered, so I switched to a ned rig to cover more ground.
