Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLaydownsLake Eufaula Alabama is on fire right now! 🔥 I caught fish on every spot I pulled into yesterday on just about everything I threw! My best bites came from a 7.5” culprit worm and punching mats!

Largemouth BassTechniqueCarolina RigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLedgesFished Lake Eufala for a week and had a really interesting practice. This day I found this 6.74 offshore on a ledge in 24-27 ft. Smoked the Carolina Rigged Zoom Trick worm. Idled the ledge and saw a rock pile that looked pretty good plus could make out a few fish on the ledge as well. Couldn't see many... But saw just enough to whip around and fire on them... FIRST CAST caught her! Was able to replicate this pattern on a couple other really similar areas.

Largemouth BassTechniqueHard JerkbaitsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureStanding TimberAfter practicing on Eufala for close to a week I landed on an interesting pattern that i LOVE doing... Livescoping fish with a Jerkbait. Super simple technique, was staying in the 17-19 ft range scoping the tops of these trees and you would see anywhere from 1-3 fish on a tree and they were good ones. Get that jerker in front of em and they were gonna eat it. Worked out well, yielded several fish in the 5-6 lb range.

Largemouth BassTechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructurePointsShad spawn is going on now and it is fire the first couple of hours in the morning. My favorite lure this time of year is definitely the swim jig paired with a rage craw. White is the color of choice but any shad color will work. Throw it around the grass on main lake points and any other places the shad are spawning (docks, rocks, etc).
