TechniqueWacky RigsSeasonFallStructureOpen Water/BasinMy Grandpa ("Papa") and I didn't catch anything at Lake Gaston Day Use Area, but we still enjoyed the time and memories made while fishing from the pier there. I believe this area may be good for catching bream in the Spring when they are bedding. With that being said, Lake Gaston is indeed a good sized lake with plenty of fish. Local anglers can probably point you to some good spots if they are willing to tell you. Haha. Thanks and have a blessed time!!!!
