Casting towards hard rocky bottoms and the smallmouth would just crush the jig, small hops, almost like you are dragging the jig.

Was able to get some largemouth off beds today. Bite overall was tough with fish being really finicky. Had to work for those fish on beds. Right now smallmouth seem to have more weight to them so if you’re in an upcoming tournament try to target those if you can. The Hazedong shad was the bait that got most the fish off the beds.
