Fished offshore Hydrilla. Would use speed worm technique in which you let the worm fall to the bottom and slowly reel the worm back to the boat, sometimes letting worm fall to trigger strikes.

The majority & best fish of the day came on topwater prop baits (slow) in the backs of creeks on the edge of the pads. Jigs, swim jigs and speed worms also played in & around the pads all over the lake
