I fished the Harris Chain of Lakes March 13-16th for the MLF Pro Circuit event and came in 7th/158. I was focusing early in the mornings on a shallow water shad spawn with the Z-Man Jackhammer and Razor Shadz as a trailer. I would then switch over to flipping a Z-Man Bangstickz or zinkerz with a 5/8oz Angler Tungsten weight. I was pitching around cattails, buggy whips and kississimee grass in 2-5' trying to put the bait in beds that I couldn't visibly see the fish on. Day 3 was my best day when I weighed in 20lbs even to jump up and make the final day cut. Overall there were fish in all 3 stages of the spawn but it seemed to be wrapping up with the last wave coming and more post spawn fish moving offshore.
