Pull offshore, find the secondary transition points/humps. 15 - 20ft depths. Work the baits slowly, almost dead sticking the drop shot.

Put some really quality fish in the boat, including my personal best smallie just over 5lbs. Rotating between the zman Jack hammer and swim jig. Fishing a large flat in 5-9 feet of water. Would throw the chatterbait until I found some good pockets of grass then swim a jig through it. Over 20lbs on my 5 best. Switched up to some topwater late in the evening with the spook and had success as well. Water temps are starting to drop and the fish are definitely putting on the feed bag!
