Caught some LMB and SMB shallow on buzz baits early then switched to the deep weedline at 10-11' with Neds and Dropshots, Finding the heaviest weed beds in deeper water was the key to the better fish.

Posted up in about 18-25 ft and pitched into 10-15ft. Would let it soak very briefly but worked it back very slowly in short movements (you could feel your weight drag on the gravelly hard bottom) and when you stopped they would hit it. This technique also worked with the largemouth but with a 6” fitness worm and they’d tend to hit it closer to the boat on the outside of the weed edge. Good luck!
