Allowing the s-waver to slow sink to about 6’-8’ and retrieving with a mix of a gliding and and short bursts got some bites when both finesse (shakeyhead) and power (chatterbait) weren’t getting any. Eventually got bites on both the SH and CB by working them along the weed edges in about 4’-6’ of water. Got a bite from a young musky on the SH which was a first

Working a weightless, nose hooked bellows gill like a soft jerkbait on the insides of weed edges produced bites. Better fish came from overhangs within that inside edge. One eyed Willy here was the cool catch of the day.
