I started my practice for the 1st stop of the MLF NC BFLs by targeting spawning pockets on the lower end of the lake. On my first stop, I caught a 4lb 12oz largemouth and a 4lb 0oz largemouth on a wacky worm. I then moved to other creeks and picked up a few more keepers on a jig and a texas rig. The key was making long casts to areas that should hold those fish that are about to make beds.
