Fishing a frog on the edges of thick mats and over vegetation that has just topped out has been extremely productive. It has caught numbers and really good size, with a 4lb 5ounce kicker fish last week. Both walking and popping style frogs have worked well. All bites have come during typical topwater scenarios. Early morning or dusk, with low wind has been the ticket. Work the frog slow with long pauses in between twitches thats usually when they eat it.
