My best luck has come fishing smaller isolated brush piles under docks. A shakes head has been the best producer. I also mix in a needles Neko rig. I also have had some quality bites on a Vision 110 +1 when there has been some wind. I find the fish are up a little in the water column with any wind lately.

Bass under dock stretches especially in the early mornings. Flip on the shallow ends of docks near other shallow structure objects and expect to get bit. Using a soft plastic that can move a lot really helps get their attention. When flipping, let the bait soak in front of them before moving it.
