The south winds were BLOWING and abusing me in my little kayak, but the water was crystal clear and I knew it was smallie time. I didn’t catch many, only caught 3, but the ones I did catch were TANKS. My smallest fish of the day was 3lbs. Targeted rock piles on the mile roads with my natural looking underspin and a finesse tube and caught some hogs. Saw guys catching more numbers fishing jerkbaits. Happy hunting!

Also used the Berkley MaxScent flat worm on the drop shot. Other technique was using a Strike King Rage swimmer in a goby color, slow rolled close to the bottom. Fishing 8-10 ft. Mile Roads. Sunny days seemed to help....tougher when it got cloudy!
