TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationFishing were out away from the banks in the offshore grass. Fish grass lines and work the worm out of it and they bit pretty good. We did catch a few on matted grass but they were small fish. The bigger ones definitely were out away from the bank.

TechniqueFrogs/ToadsSeasonSummerStructureLily PadsCaught this 10.2 on the bootable poplin pad crasher around Lilly pads. Also caught 6.4 on the spinner bait, a 5.5, 4.4, 4.2 on a 7.5” culprit worm around grass lines. Caught several other fish well but didn’t weigh them. Working the frog over pads produced my biggest fish as well as several 2-3 pounders

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSummerStructureMatted GrassFishing has been tough these passed few weeks with large amounts of rain 24 out of 26 days. But flipping in the hydrilla, a creature bait Texas rigged and 1 1/4 ounce jig in on the humps in 15ish ft water can still produce a few bits during the day. Hollow body Frog on the Matts early and late has be 🔥. Water temp this week went down from 83 to 81 with all the rain. Still it’s better than being at work.
