Hit the docks/bank area with a ned rig hellgrammite style soft plastic. Caught several. Hard to tell if the largies are moving up shallow to spawn. Fishing the Big Monon creek arm of Lake Shafer.

Bite was slow. Likely due to higher temps. Managed a few in open water with a 2-5' diving crankbait (area of lake was particularly shallow 6' max) Exact location was big monon creek

Rigged up a stupid tube and covered a lot of water up Big Monon. Had double digit bites, but not a lot of size.

Smallies where hitting 10 feet off the docks on rip rap banks, would only eat if you bounced it off a rock and paused the lure.

Pitching docks and shallow coves off the Big Monon creek arm in morning. Feeding up shallow. Lake Shafer is a rather shallow lake besides the dam area. Color wasn’t listed but I was using okeechobee craw.
