Fishing from the bank at a local park, the online app says water is at 62, I think it’s colder. The fish are in 6-8 foot of water near shore, chasing perch, I had been getting lick on the Whopper plopper, but switched to a blade bait when it slowed. Was pulling this above and through the submerged grass, yo-yo style, and he hit it on the fall.

Skipping under docks and pitching between boat lifts. Action was consistent all morning. Lots of Rock Bass but the TRD elastic holds up great! The further back you can skip the better. Fish were aggressive! They would even hit on the reel back in so go slowly when reeling back.

Moving along the east side of Mercer Island picked up 20.5 inch smallmouth that hit hard and had some acrobatics to the battle.

Saw feeding bass chasing bait. Started throwing the Whopper plopper, Instant hook up, bass are in the submerged grass and cruising rock walls. 4-6 feet of water.

ROUGH day of fishing 05/30/22 on Lake Washington. wacky rig wasn't doing it so had to go back to ol' reliable and sure enough caught one within the next 1-2 casts underneath the dock that i had been working for a bit. THIS IS A MUST IF YOU'RE NEW TO BASS FISHING. it's meant for numbers, not size, and a solid boost of morale.

Son woke me up and wanted to hit the bank before school. Turned out to be a great idea. 2 small, plus this nice one. 3 fish and at school by 7:50. MeggaBass PopX was getting the most strikes. Perch. I had a couple swipes at a bone Rebel popper. No hook ups though. Tight lines y’all !

Bank fishing Local Parks on the east side. Fish were cruising the grass lines near the boulder walls, and gravel area of the beach. Spin Rod, med, fast, 8lb InvizX, I use a 1/6 bullet weight, no stopper. To a Texas rigged 5” baby bass senko. Slow reel dragging the bottom, it feels like a grass snag till they, tap tap tap, reel down until they start to try and pull the other way, then set the hook with a sweep, hard set popping the rod caused a few misses before I figured it out. They almost set the hook for you, you just give it that last bit and a hard reel. Winner of the Shane Flint outdoors west division. #SFOBIGBASS 2023
