Largemouth BassTechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonWinterStructureDamHard to work the spinner through the dying grass, but when I kept it clean I got hit. 15mph winds pushing into shore all day, so I focused on quiet inlets right off moving water

Largemouth BassTechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureLaydownsCheck out my YouTube Channel, @ECRD Fishing! Fish were not spawning quite yet. Struggled on main lake where water was too clear and 59 degrees, also struggled in Upper Mud where water was too cloudy and 60. Finally, we were ready to give up when we hit a small, protected canal on the NW side of Upper Mud. That is where they were! Caught 4 big ones and missed 4 more! 2 on Swim Jig, 2 on Wacky Worm. Water in canal was 62, but we were taking water temp in afternoon when it is at its warmest. Also our thermometer is in the top 5 inches of the water column, so reading may be inaccurate. Tight lines!

Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationWater temps about 80 degrees most places. Overcast and windy this morning. I was fishing outside weed edges in 8-10 with the wind blowing into them. A chatterbait and and white double willow burned over the top some good bites. Later in the morning I picked up a couple throwing a Spro Bronzeye frog near rocks and shoreline vegetation. Strikes came within a foot or two of shore.

Largemouth BassTechniqueLipless CrankbaitsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureBaitfishA little shore spot off of the Yahara River near Waubesa behind Rutabaga. Thousands of bluegills pile in here and the bass get to chewing! Bluegill pattern lipless crankbait was the deal! Slow straight retrieve got it done. Caught 15 in 90 minutes!

Largemouth BassTechniqueNeko RigsSeasonSummerStructureDocksWater was clear in the river and fish were located on structure and on weed edges.

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureDocksTried fishing open water and near shore with a chatterbait. Decided to throw under docks. It took a while, then I went to one I've had success under in past years. Baam! Two quick bass before lines out for a 2nd place finish.
