Mostly rocky terrain with grassy patches. Bass would follow the lure in and strike near shore. Lots of bluegill and small baitfish around.

Throwing the Midsize Rage Bug was key to a 3rd place, in the money, finish. Down sizing baits when getting short strikes has worked well for me.

Fished the docks thoroughly but nothing going..pulled 6 to 7 feet out from them. Used a wacky and neko rigged senko around and where possible holes in the weeds near the east and south end of the lake

Flipping beds with a white rage craw produced some nice males locked to beds. Females cruising but not locked yet and weren’t biting.

The 2 pound largies are feeding up hard on the blue gills! I pulled 4 off one bluegill bed area alone. Fish those swim jigs right over the tops and around the weed edges and you’ll smash them!

Picked up a couple early evening bass on a Jack Hammer. Capped off the evening with 3 on a wacky rig.
