Whitney has some of the best striper fishing in all of Texas in my opinion. The best way I've found I can catch them is an A rig during the summertime chasing them all across the lake when they make the shad run. They will start in the backs of river channels and creeks in the morning and slowly push the bait all the way out to the main lake as the day goes on.
