I fished the back of a creek that was covered with duckweed that had developed. Most bites came close to the edge of available cover. Used grey Horny Toads and Green Pumpkin.

With higher water due to the recent rains, I was able to fish closer to shore and found active bass in areas that had submerged vegetation that intersected the docks. With the recent hot weather, the weed growth has become more pronounced and provides additional cover for baitfish.

Methodically pitched Ozark Rig=Rage Bug combo in holes along the weed edges. It was easy to fish too fast and miss fish. Also caught northern pike and smallmouth along the outside edges.
