Using a retired KVD 7'4" Quantum Cranking Rod that has a softer feel that lets the fish load the rod before sweeping hook set.

Due to the high winds on the main lake, I targeted secondary points and worked the Z-Man Original Chatterbait slowly around the cover. Bass seem to be grouping up more now that the water temperature has dropped into the upper 50's.

I fished the Red Eyes Shad in an erratic manner during the retrieve while maintaining bottom contact.

Retrieved over the top of the rock pile varrying the speed to induce strikes.
