Tried a new lake with some pretty good success. No real big fish, but did manage to put a fair amount of quality fish in the boat. Fish were tight to cover like pads, stumps, and weed patches that were still green. Burning a chatterbait worked best, but slowing down with a wacky worm next to the heavy cover got fish also.
