Top water bite was on all morning into early afternoon. The low light conditions, warm water temps, and very light chop were perfect for throwing a prop bait. I used the Whopper Plopper most of the day and fished around docks, points, and shallow cover. I lost a couple nice ones unfortunately, but still ended the day with about a dozen fish total. The top water bite died down by early afternoon so I switched to soft plastic swim baits and caught a few more smaller ones.
