TechniqueMedium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12')SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureStanding TimberIf you havent been fishing Twain this year, you are missing out! The last few Joe Bass Team Trail tournaments have seen several 20+ pound bags being weighed! Overcast skies and cooler than average air temps are seemingly keeping the water temps down. I found 66-68 degree water in the mid-lake area. Most of the lake is DIRTY with less that 3-6" of visibility. Fishing the 3XD near standing timber was the key today. The cooler temps seem to have slowed the move to summer haunts but a few days of fire in the sky could change that. The spinnerbait was a player today and I had a few run with the power worm that I didn't set the hook on. Tight lines!
