First trip back on the pond for the year! Caught an absolute pile of them. Fish are everywhere. Caught fish from 8-22ft. Schooled in big groups right now so when you find em stay on em. They're hungry.

Targeting big prespawn smallmouth off the edges of the main lake reefs seemed to be the best tactic. Few bites all day but the quality was there. Long pauses and hard twitches were key to making a follower a biter. Solid 23.56 for 5 with a 5.87 kicker.
