Water starting to warm up. About 54 degrees, have success mostly at the north end. Chatter bait working well.

Smaller fish working up real shallow, seemed like bigger fished were just staged off the shallow bedding areas in 6-8' flats of stumps or weeds

5/23/2021 - Temps rising to around 65-69 degrees depending on location. Submerged vegetation starting to grow. Beds starting to appear in shallow bays. Bite on moving baits seemed to slow down significantly, so switched to pitching and flipping Texas rig in shallow areas on the inside weed line and that produced results. Warmer water and larger fish on the north end of the lake, smaller bucks and cooler water down towards the dam.

lots of pike and bass in cabbage and stumps in 4-8ft of water

Bass up shallow along shorelines, in vegetation, many caught in 2's with slow to fast reeling of swimbait and jerkbaits
