Spent two days out here last weekend. On Day 1, as I try to do, I threw everything under the sun, trying to expand my knowledge/experience of the many ways to catch a bass. But after 6 hours of little to no success, it was time to catch some fish. I can't say enough about the Strike King Ocho stick worm, especially the Blu Craw pattern. I caught 8 spotties in two hours, ranging from 2.5 to 3.5 lbs. Which needless to say, saved the day. You can guess what I started with on day 2 on my way to 17 more beauties!

SITTING IN 30-40' THROW UP TO THE POINT AND SLOWLY TWITCH IT BACK TO YOU. THE SPOTS JUST PICK IT UP SO YOU WON'T FEEL THE BITE. IT WILL JUST FEEL SLUGGISH. SET THE HOOK AND HOLD ON.

Warming night temps and warming day temps have improved the reaction bite somewhat! Had a breezing, choppy lake so through the spinner blade with a Keitech trailer.

Long cast and count it down to the desired depth. Slow retrieve worked the best.
