Early summer/late post spawn pattern on the first week in July. Sunny and calm day with water about 71. The key was to find some different looking rock structure in that 10-15ft depth. Everybody's favorite ball and chain C-Rig produced the best. The fish were spitting up perch on the way to the boat though and could be caught with jerkbaits, I just couldnt get them as consistently as I could being on bottom.

Fished grass with rockpiles scattered in it. Threw the chatterbait to cover water then picked up the jig to fish the rockpiles. Chatterbait bite was better in the morning and in the wind but if it slicked off the jig was the better choice
