TechniqueHard JerkbaitsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationHit the water around 5:00 and started fishing at 5:30. The smoke from the fires in Canada made the conditions significantly overcast. There was about consistent 9mph wind from the NE when we hit the water as well. Started off throwing a Rat-L-Trap with no bites and a LOT of grass. Decided to switch to the new Shallow Megabass 110 and got a keeper on the second bite. We kept on heading down the same grassline and I put another one in the boat a few minutes later. We were still moving pretty fast at this point and we rounded a bit of a corner and didn't have any hits for 30-40 minutes so we went back to where we started and ran the same stretch again putting two more in the boat with the same jerkbait. My co-angler put my spare 110sr on and put some in the boat as well with it. We kept on hitting the same 250yards of grassline over and over again, picking up bass every run. As the sun went down I picked up two more on the PopMax as well, one really nice smallie. We ended up culling about 5 times during the night and were throwing 2's back by the end of the night. We ended up winning with 12.85lbs with a 3.5lb being our largest, big bass was a 4.5lb smallie if I heard correctly.

TechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureDocksI'll just say this was a rough tournament. It was hot, windy, tons of pleasure craft and we couldn't find the fish. Managed grab two keepers under docks with a wacky room and a handful of of fish just under 14" We had just under 3lbs with 2 keepers. Weights were- 13.81 lbs 12.73 lbs 11.89 lbs Big Bass - 3.89 lbs (smallie)

TechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureDocksCame out expecting top water to be firing off due to the clear morning and stormy night. There was just enough chop on the water and wind to kill any bite though. Water was probably 5-6' visibility. Wind was blowing 15mph+. We pulled into the south bay and found some in the pads, and in the channel under docks. Few and far between so we went to ther other side of the lack and got skunked, moved again and picked up another on a Kaera, and a final one on a Horny Toad. Overall ended up with a bag of 5 keepers, but not very happy about it.

TechniqueNed RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged Vegetationtried fishing water in the 10 - 15ft with bites only by perch. Going shallower in 4 - 6 ft of water got bass bites. The bite was suttle with little movement after. Not very many bites but the ones were keeper size. It was a better morning of fishing than expected. 4 largemouth and 2 smallmouths.

TechniqueLipless CrankbaitsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureDocksBass were holding to docks pretty close for shade. Lipless cranks and Smaller swimbaits were producing. Lake was treated recently, so there was a lot of garbage in the water and hard to fish anything with trebles.
