The vegetation has not come in yet, the fish are still coming up to shallower water to find bedding grounds. The northeast corner of the lake has prime bedding areas and I expect to see them light up soon.

Threw the bellows on a free rig just letting it sit my line started to run so I thought I was on the drop but it kept running so I checked and there was a fish turned out to be a nice 5lber

The fish are still moving up into the shallows, find a submerged weed line and rip a jerk bait just along the edge.

Finding shallow rocks was the key. The glide pulled fish out and fired them up and following up with the bellows gill closed it if they didn’t commit.

Bass are on the outside of flats in the weed transition as the bluegill spawn. Working a spinner bait on the inside line has produced fish.

I saw fish cruising grass lines and pitched to them they just ate the dinger and the hooks were sharp but I had a problem keeping fish pinned
