Water was on the cooler side. Caught most bass in 6 to 8 ft of water. Depth drops quickly along most of the shoreline near the public access. Expecting good weedlines later in the year

I was able to go along the entire shoreline and pitch and flip bandito bugs and punch craws when I came across matted grass or Lilly pads. I found majority of my fish came from the base of the reeds. a couple jerks triggered them. Found out often when i would pitch in they would catch it on the downfall. With the water temp being mid 70's, they weren't to deep. With the transitioning to fall coming up, they are staging up shallow, so running a frog would be great as well.
