The fish were feeding early in conjunction with the shad spawn. It slowed down until the water temperature hit 73 a few hours later the it picked up again. 10 fish for 2 guys. But we left fish to explore new locations. Getting ready for a Midweek Bass Club tournament.

We caught over 20 bass all day on spinnerbaits. They bit well before dawn and again at noon onwards. Even when the wind was nonexistent. We could not catch any pitching fish. That was strange. This shallow pattern will change soon enough to summer structure fishing. Enjoy while you can.
