We had overcast skies all day, barometric pressure was 30.01 and air temp fluctuates high 60’s to low 70s with an East wind at 5-10 mph. Crappie, perch, bluegill and bass were chasing and hitting the crawler harnesses at 2.5mph, for the first few hours out. The bite was hit and miss after 3 pm. Fish were predominantly staying around the 13 ft depth. Sometimes suspended at that depth when in deeper water but most wanted to sit on the bottom at 13-15 ft. Hammered Gold Colorado blades and orange beads were the ticket along with pink and purple beads, using an entire crawler. When passing over fish with bottom bouncer and crawler harness, if you “pump” the rod forward and then let bait drift back, you would most likely get hit on the next forward pull, this change in lure speed enticed the fish to chase and strike. - Brandon

Fished a kayak tournament on Rush. I mostly fished the south end of west rush. Calm sunny day. Found my best fish on points with cover, baitfish, and deep water access. Lily pads were the next best bet. Frogs worked slow and a senko to follow up got the bites today.
