Crushed big smallies fishing rock/gravel/sand transitions. Dropshots, tubes, and hair jigs have been producing but a hot bait for me has been a big ned trd in any baitfish color. The trick was to trim a half inch off inch off the ned trd if you can rig the bait to get it to spiral on the fall it looks a lot like the dying alewives. Most hits came on the spiraling fall.
