TechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSummerStructurePointsThe bite was very slow. I tried shallow and deep running crankbaits without any bites. Finesse fishing with a wacky worm wasn’t working either. I was getting some bites on a bluegill Magic divine swim jig from 6th Sense with a blood minnow paddle tail swim bait also from 6th Sense. I only fished a couple hours in the afternoon, and only had one fish to the boat. It was about a 2.5 pounder that flopped off the hook as I lifted it into the boat.
