Most fish came on the Z-man SMH shakey head with the SMH worm in green pumpkin. One came on the WOO EWG Ned, with a Riot Baits vigilante in Riot color. Caught two others on Riot Recon vibrating jig. 5 of 8 we're on the shakey head. All were under docks, boat was sitting in about 10ft of water pitching under docks in about 5ft and dragging back. Most productive were in big creeks near the main lake. Water temp was 57.8, air temp upper 60s low 70s.

SpeciesSmallmouth BassTechniqueShallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6')SeasonWinterStructureBouldersWent out fishing this morning before the rain hit....didn't make it long before I got wet but caught 2 nice smallmouth on a Riot Baits Revolt 426 in Seibold Red, along a bluff wall. Boat was sitting in about 15 to 20 feet casting parallel to the bank. Most of the bait I saw was about 6 to 10ft down. The Revolt dives to about 6ft on a good long cast. Since there were trees and other rocks near the bank this was perfect for deflecting off the cover. Caught 2 smallmouth one about 1.4lbs and another 2.82lbs about 10min apart. After the rain came that was all for the next few hours before I decided to call it. Not bad in the short window I had. I'll take that any day!
