Largemouth BassTechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationWe mostly threw spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and Texas rigs next to the reeds and in deeper water at the edge of submerged grass. The bite was pretty slow but the quality was great. Everything we caught was over 2.5lbs with a few around 4lbs.

The weeds have really overgrown the typical areas where you would fish the rock flats or any humps so fishing deeper, working the outside edge of the weed line like you would for largemouth with the drop shot will still produce a smallie bite. Looking forward to the weeds dying off in the fall and getting back on those rocks.

SpeciesLargemouth BassTechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged Vegetationwackey rigs stood out today, throw in front of weed lines in 9-13 feet (can make weighted if you want) let'em drop until just above top of vegatation and jig back up. rapala dt 6 also pulled a boat load of fish in the boat. overall we caught about 35 fish in the whole day! Lake is loaded with fish!!! one of the best lakes in the area! spinnerbaits worked too. all of these also caught pike as well!
