You can put a minnow head on the treble hook if the bite is slow, hood it to the middle point on the treble so it is in the middle of the jig and doesn't make it off balance. I like to use braid and a small swivel to about 2-4' of mono or fluorocarbon line and tie direct to the jig. Good Luck!

I fished main lake river channel ledges that had stumps on the top side using the X-15 fishing anywhere from 10-18’ deep near shad. Most fish were aggressive we probably caught 75-80 fish on the day.
