The biggest schools are starting to break up out deep. But there’s still fish to be caught out deep. But catching a better quality fish in the grass on a white swim jig and a pad crasher frog.. also catching a few nice fish flipping shallow lay down

Fished the Alabama Bass Trail today. Got one good one in a stump field on a keitech swim bait with a Damiki under spin and broke another good one off on the same set up. Also caught some on docks later in the day using a good ole Texas rigged roboworm. One shy of a limit for the day.

Slow day on the lake today but did finally get a few on the old reliable wacky rig with a Berkeley General. Bass are smack in the middle of transition coming off the spawn. Saw a bunch cruising but couldn’t get them to commit.
