Like many passionate anglers, fishing has been an integral part of my life since I was a child. Growing up, fishing family walleye tournaments and making avid trips to the boundary waters introduced me to a variety of species I enjoyed chasing. This lead to guiding kayak fishing trips and ice fishing trips for a few years back home before I was able to make fishing a full time career. Today, I compete on the BASS, Hobie BOS and KBF national kayak bass trails, which has provided the opportunity to fish all over the country for the past few years. When I'm not pre-fishing for a tournament, you can find me chasing the elusive muskellunge. I'm a freelance outdoor writer and enjoy sharing my knowledge of this sport with anglers from across the globe.
