MuskieTechniqueShallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6')SeasonFallStructureDamEarly fall is a beautiful time to be on the water. Water is cooling and river levels are seasonably low. Muskies have been active near the faster current utilizing current breaks to ambush baitfish. Key on signs of active baitfish and work medium sized swimbaits methodically through those areas. Great fun on lighter than average musky tackle!

Smallmouth BassTechniqueShallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6')SeasonFallStructureBouldersThrow the square bill along shoreline and over drop off. Slower steady retrieve with a few stop seem to trigger the smallmouth to bite. Slow it down with a ned rig or a small bass jig. Slowly working the jig over the rock and making sure to feel bottom contact for best bites.
