Around the first of middle of May, a great way to catch largemouth on Douglas is a Carolina rig. A green pumpkin lizard with the tail died chartreuse is my go to bait. Fish this around river rock points in the middle portion of the lake. I typically fish this with a 1/2oz or 3/4oz sinker about two feet above my bait. Fishing it slow along the bottom can provide great results!
