2021 MinnYak Trail Series #23: Mississippi River - La Crosse

The third stop of our trail series takes us to SE Minnesota to the world-famous bass mecca on the mighty Mississippi called La Crosse! Pools 8, 9, and 10 the Mississippi River near La Crosse, WI make up this fishery. Anglers can expect to encounter world-famous largemouth and smallmouth fishing while also taking in the scenic views as they explore hundreds of miles of river channel and backwater areas. LAX (as some of the locals call it) will be a numbers game with some big fish caught. Typically, this fishery comes down to ¼” wins, so this one will be fun! We are also extremely pleased to announce that this will also be a partner event with the All-American Kayak Series who will also be hosting an event at La Crosse. We intend to fish the same times and boundaries as their event. Anglers are encouraged to fish both events if possible but can feel free to choose either one.
