 - I ran along most of the banks around the major points targeted 5’-8’ of water. Cranking the hybrid hunter fast once I got a largemouth I would hot spot lock and fish the area for 5-10 minutes getting 2 or 3 more largemouths. Canyon lake is pretty much down to 1 boat ramp, 19 is open all week and ramp 18 is open on the weekends from 8am-4pm.

 - Early in the morning and late in the evenings the fish begin schooling on long tapering points near brush piles. Look for fish busting on the surface and immediately get a top water or jerkbait in the school.
