Fish appear to be in the middle of the spawn with the increase in water temperature. Larger fish have bloody tails from fanning. The bite is very tough right now but largemouth bass are still actively chasing shallow crankbaits. The fish are feeding on Bluegill heavily and following them to shallow, rocky areas during the early parts of the day.

The water is currently 5 feet low making it VERY difficult to launch/load your boat, use caution!! The water temp was higher than I was expecting at 72 degrees. I was able to find them all over the lake, with a frog around pad stems, with a flick shake rig under docks, and with a squarebill on rip rap. They're definitely in the spawning phase as the 4lber had been fanning her bed based on how her tail looked. Overall good day!
